Formerly known as the ProPik Metal/Plastic Thumbpick
This is the thumbpick that started it all. The original!
The distinctive non-slip open band design won't loosen or turn on thumb while you play and fits securely without being too tight.
When the pick feels too tight or loose around your thumb, simply expand or contract the thumb pick's wrap for the best fit. Adjustments are made quickly and easily without heat or tools.
Smooth-wearing plastic tip for a noiseless, pure tone and double riveted for extra durability.
Price is per pick.

Fingerpicks
ProPik fingerpicks are designed to be completely adjustable, so it is one size fits all. We also offer a Small & Medium line of picks, specifically designed for players with smaller hands.
Thumbpicks
When it comes to thumbpicks, most players will use medium or large thumbpicks, depending on the size of their hands and again, these are adjustable to you and your style. Many average size players even prefer using Large thumb picks and adjusting them down.

Nickel
Nickel is the most popular choice and is close to the brightness of stainless steel, but just a hair warmer. Many people prefer nickel because they are more adjustable than steel, which by its nature is much harder to adjust.
Brass
Brass is the warmest of the 3 metal choices.
Stainless Steel
The brightest of the three metals offered (stainless steel, nickel, brass). Due to the way they are manufactured and buffed to a high sheen, there is also less drag on the string, thus producing less pick noise and accents the brightness further.
Blade Type
#1 blades are the most narrow and #3 blades are the widest. The #1 and #2 blades are the most popular, with the #2 being a hair more popular.
Blade Angle
Over the years, players have made all kinds of alterations to their picks (and their technique) to make them work better. Angled blades allow you to hit the strings squarely with minimized finger movement, so you get a boost of tone, speed, volume, and reduced pick noise.
Nice
Decent pick. I did some sanding to round out the edges. Preference thing. Wish there were options for material and mm. But as a lefty we get little option so I am always tweaking them myself
Cool thumbpick.
Fits and adjusts very well. Has quick action for up the neck stuff.
Pro pick sizing
I bought the large size because that’s the size of my existing picks. I was not aware that the pick length changes with the size. It is way too long. The metal band doesn’t seem to stay tight enough on the thumb.
Thumbs Up!
I am a self taught guitar player. For years I have played with only my thumb and first finger. In an effort to play a bit louder, I have been trying out different thumb and finger picks. "The Origninal" thumbpick is the perfect length from thumb to strings. I made adjustments to how it fits on my thumb, allowing me to dial in the angle for optimal striking of the strings. This is not possible with plastic picks. My technique could be called terrible, but I prefer to think of it as unique. Every time I play with this and a Pro Pik finger pick, I gain clarity and confidence. Thank you so much for these beautifully made pieces.
